Child Coverage

You can purchase coverage for your children in increments of $2,500 up to a maximum of $10,000. There are no health requirements for this coverage. Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance

Basic AD&D Coverage

You’re automatically enrolled in company-paid Basic AD&D Insurance for an amount equal to your Basic Term Life amount. Basic AD&D pays you and your beneficiary a benefit for the loss of life or other injuries resulting from a covered accident — 100% for loss of life and a lesser percentage for other injuries. Injuries covered may include loss of sight or speech, paralysis, and dismemberment of hands or feet. Basic AD&D benefits are paid regardless of other coverages you may have.

Voluntary AD&D

Voluntary AD&D insurance is an optional benefit that helps protect you against losses due to accidents. You can purchase supplemental coverage for yourself in increments of $10,000, up to $500,000. Benefit amounts over $150,000 cannot be greater than 10 times your annual earnings. If you choose to cover your family, your spouse’s benefit amount will be 50% of yours, or 60% if you have no dependent children. Each of your covered children’s benefit amount will be 15% of yours, or 20% if you have no eligible spouse, subject to a maximum benefit of $60,000.

You may elect to cover your lawful spouse under age 70 and your unmarried dependent children who are under age 19 (or under age 26 if they are full-time students). Children must be dependent upon you for support and maintenance.
